About the Role

Programmed is seeking a motivated and skilled CNC Programmer to join our client's manufacturing team in Bathurst. This is a hands-on role that combines programming expertise with manufacturing support, working closely with production and engineering teams to optimise machining processes and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and create CNC machine programs.
  • Develop integrations between manufacturing equipment and business software.
  • Troubleshoot software and programming issues, providing ongoing technical support.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Participate in system testing, upgrades and technical documentation.
  • Assist with machine maintenance and tooling changeovers as required.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to workplace health and safety at all times.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience programming CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNC programming principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • A strong focus on safety and quality.
